IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS

Under §38.019, a school district that maintains an Internet website is required to post prominently on the website lists, in English and Spanish, of the immunizations required for admission to public school, any additional immunizations recommended by the Department of State Health Services (DSHS), and health clinics in the district that offer influenza vaccine. The district must also post a link to the DSHS website information relating to claiming an exemption from immunization requirements.
